Reconnect & Win Competition – Official Rules
1. Promoter
The competition is promoted and conducted by Nieu Sol Education, a sole proprietorship owned by Wilhelmus Petrus Trytsman.

These rules govern the Nieu Sol Education “Reconnect & Win” promotional competition (“the Competition”).
2. Purpose of the Competition
The Competition forms part of Nieu Sol Education’s campaign to reconnect with former customers of Nieu Sol Development, which is now known as Nieu Sol Education.
The Competition also provides eligible former customers with an opportunity to choose whether they would like to receive future communications from Nieu Sol Education.
3. Competition Period
The Competition opens on 13 August 2026 and closes at 23:59 on 30 September 2026.
Entries received after the closing date and time will not qualify.
4. Eligibility
The Competition is exclusively open to individuals who previously purchased educational products or resources from Nieu Sol Development and who, in response to this specific reintroduction campaign, voluntarily choose to join the Nieu Sol Education mailing list.
To qualify, an entrant must:
- Have previously purchased from Nieu Sol Development;
- Be an individual of legal age;
- Receive the Nieu Sol Education reintroduction campaign;
- Actively choose to join the Nieu Sol Education mailing list through this campaign; and
- Complete the required subscription/confirmation process before the Competition closes.
Individuals who were not previous Nieu Sol Development customers are not eligible to enter through this campaign.
New customers who subscribe to the Nieu Sol Education mailing list outside of this specific campaign are also not eligible for this Competition.
Employees, owners, contractors, consultants, immediate family members and persons directly involved in administering or conducting the Competition are not eligible to enter.
5. No Purchase Required
No new purchase is required to enter the Competition.
The Competition is specifically intended for former Nieu Sol Development customers who choose to reconnect with Nieu Sol Education through this campaign.
6. How to Enter
Eligible former customers can enter by:
- Clicking the competition/subscription link contained in the Nieu Sol Education reintroduction email;
- Completing the required subscription/confirmation process;
- Choosing to join the Nieu Sol Education mailing list; and
- Completing the process before the Competition closes.
By completing the process, the entrant confirms that they wish to receive future marketing communications from Nieu Sol Education.
Only one entry per eligible person will be accepted.
Multiple email addresses or duplicate subscriptions created by the same individual will not result in additional entries.
7. The Prize
There will be five (5) winners.
Each winner will receive one full year of Nieu Sol Education Lesson Preparation, commencing with Term 1 of 2027.
The prize consists of:
- Term 1 2027 Lesson Preparation;
- Term 2 2027 Lesson Preparation;
- Term 3 2027 Lesson Preparation; and
- Term 4 2027 Lesson Preparation.
Each winner may choose one grade and one language from the lesson-preparation packages made available by Nieu Sol Education for the relevant term.
The winner will receive a digital download link to the applicable lesson-preparation package for each term.
The prize is for digital downloadable resources only and does not include printed materials, physical delivery or cash.
The selected grade and language must be among the lesson-preparation packages made available by Nieu Sol Education for the relevant term.
The prize is not transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash or another product.
8. Winner Selection
Five winners will be selected from all eligible entries received before the Competition closing date.
Following the closing of the Competition, all eligible entrants will be placed into a digital random selection system/randomiser.
Five entrants will then be randomly selected as winners.
The draw will take place on:

The draw and winner-selection process will be appropriately overseen and verified in accordance with applicable South African promotional-competition requirements.
Nieu Sol Education will retain appropriate records of the eligible entrant list, draw process and selected winners.
9. Independent Oversight
The conducting of the Competition and the random selection of winners will be overseen and certified by an appropriately independent accountant, registered auditor, attorney or advocate, as required by applicable promotional-competition regulations.
The relevant records and supporting documentation relating to the Competition will be retained for the required period.
10. Contacting the Winners
Each winner will be contacted using the contact details associated with their entry.
Nieu Sol Education may contact winners by:
- Email; and/or
- WhatsApp.
Winners will be contacted as soon as reasonably possible following the draw.
A selected winner must respond within 7 days of the first notification.
If a selected winner cannot be contacted within this period, does not respond, is found to be ineligible, or otherwise fails to comply with these Competition Rules, Nieu Sol Education reserves the right to select an alternative winner from the remaining eligible entries.
11. Announcement of Winners
The five winners may be announced through Nieu Sol Education’s official social media channels and/or website.
Winners will also be informed directly by email and/or WhatsApp.
Any use of a winner’s photograph, image, testimonial or other marketing material will be subject to the winner’s applicable rights and consent. Participation in any additional marketing activity will not be a condition of receiving the prize.
12. Mailing List and Future Communications
By entering the Competition through this campaign, an eligible former customer voluntarily chooses to join the Nieu Sol Education mailing list.
Those who enter agree to receive future communications from Nieu Sol Education, which may include:
- New educational resources;
- New products;
- Teaching ideas and useful educational content;
- Special offers;
- Promotions;
- Competitions; and
- Nieu Sol Education news and updates.
Participants may unsubscribe from future marketing communications at any time using the unsubscribe option provided in Nieu Sol Education communications.
Unsubscribing from future marketing communications after entering the Competition will not invalidate an otherwise valid Competition entry.
13. Personal Information
Personal information supplied in connection with the Competition will be processed for the purposes of:
- Administering and conducting the Competition;
- Verifying eligibility;
- Contacting entrants and winners;
- Delivering prizes; and
- Managing the Nieu Sol Education mailing list where the entrant has chosen to receive future marketing communications.
Nieu Sol Education will process personal information in accordance with its Privacy Policy and applicable South African data-protection legislation.
14. Invalid or Disqualified Entries
Nieu Sol Education reserves the right to verify entries and disqualify any entry that:
- Does not meet the eligibility requirements;
- Contains false or misleading information;
- Is duplicated or submitted more than once by the same person;
- Was submitted after the closing date;
- Was created through manipulation or abuse of the entry process; or
- Otherwise does not comply with these Competition Rules.
Nieu Sol Education’s decision regarding eligibility will be subject to applicable law.
15. Changes, Cancellation or Termination
Nieu Sol Education reserves the right to amend, suspend or terminate the Competition where reasonably necessary, subject to applicable law.
Any material changes to the Competition will be communicated through an appropriate Nieu Sol Education communication channel.
16. No Cost to Enter
There is no fee or purchase requirement associated with entering the Competition.
Joining the Nieu Sol Education mailing list through this campaign is free.
17. Competition Rules
These Competition Rules are available free of charge to participants on the Nieu Sol Education website.

18. Governing Law
These Competition Rules are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa.
Any matters not specifically addressed in these rules will be dealt with in accordance with applicable South African law.
